Getting to see Gavin right after surgery. A sight for my sore eyes. It was good to know he was awake and looking like this was no big deal. He helped us to remain calm and feel comfortable with everything. We actually did really well as first timers! :) I wasn't sure if I would cry and carry on but, nope, the little fella told me "mom, geez, I am going to be fine!!" so I went with it.
In his hospital gown pre-op. He couldn't eat after midnight and this picture was taken at about 7AM. He did awesome considering he was a hungry little guy.
