The Finale!

I was wheeled into the O.R. at 1:56AM March 14th. Daylight savings time happened at 2AM and our babies were born when the clocks still said 2:22 and 2:23. With the time change though, the official times were 3:22AM and 3:23AM born via c-section due to both babies being breech.

Gavin "Baby A" Thomas Witt was born 1st. It was incredible to hear his little scream as he was introduced to the world. I could hear my doctor say "here is a cute little butt". They lifted him and asked Randy if he could tell the gender. I looked up at Randy and said firmly "what is it???" "A boy he said".

Next, I heard "ha ha :) Another little butt!". Again, Randy was asked if he could tell the gender and he said "sorry you aren't going to get a little Gemma". We were both convinced it was a boy and a girl throughout the pregnancy so we had decided on the name Gavin for a boy and Gemma for a girl. When he said I wasn't getting a Gemma, I knew we had two little boys!! I was elated, and of course shed a few tears as I heard both of the boys little voices stating that they had just had a stressful night.
